    「今様三十二相」は副題が「〜そう」となり、美人の様相を表したシリーズです。

    花火が上がる瞬間を枝豆を食べながら待つ芸者の姿が描かれています。

     

    Woodblock print, ôban nishiki-e, shomen zuri detailed, embellished with mica, 

    beautifully block-cut by Yokogawa Takejiro (Horitake), published by Shorindo, 1859.
